Hoo-Rag Bandanas

When you're working out does your hair ever just drive you completely BONKERS?

Mine does.

My bangs never stay back. They usually end up falling in my face. And I tend to workout pretty intensely. So after a while they become drenched in sweat and either stuck to my face or slapping me in the eyes. Grrr...

I have tried headband after headband. None of them stay in place. Even the ones with rubber backing slip and slide. I usually end up with a head full of metal trying to get them to stay in place. And then it still ends up shifting. Needless to say, sometimes I would prefer the annoyance of my bangs over the annoyance of a headband.

But a crafty little company called Hoo-Rag came up with a solution for this! Yes, you might be tempted to start throwing gang signs at me when you hear their name. No worries, I threw a few myself. Although I can't remember any real gang signs and my ASL is very limited, so I think I told someone I wanted an apple and I need to go potty.... Oh well. At least I looked cool doing it. Haha, as cool as a mom in sweatpants and a mom-bun can.

Anyways, they have made a tubular headband. By the way, that is an awesome word. Tubular..... Ya I know, I'm making myself cooler by the minute. Hahaha oh dear. Back to what I was saying, it's a tube that can be shaped into dozens of wearing styles. Here's a short clip they have made to demonstrate some of the ways..

Whether you're seeking sun protection or just a way to tame your hair this bandana has got you covered.
Literally.
Hahaha! Someone needs to stop me today. I apologize for my horrible humor. Sleepless nights have a tendency to make me quite weird.

When my family used to go camping, we went on some pretty hardcore trips. We would pack up our stuff and live off of only what four people could pack on two ATV's for a couple of days. That's including tents, cooking gear, gasoline, food, water, clothing, sleeping bags, etc. We would ride all day long. The trails were usually extremely dusty and made it very difficult to breathe. We resorted to wearing bandanas to help filter the air.

The only problem was that the knot was usually against the back of your head under the helmet. It really hurt after a while. But we preferred the pain over inhaling clouds of dirt. I really wish we would have had Hoo-Rags back then. It would've kept our lungs clearer and our necks out of the sun.

Hoo-Rags are perfect for those people that like to snowboard because it will protect you from getting sunburned off of the reflection from the snow, keep your ears warmer, and protect your lungs and throat from the cold air. That is if you were to wear it Balaclava style

People spending a ton of time out fishing on the lake would definitely benefit from the face-mask style. It protects the face and neck. It is also great for hiking, rock-hounding, or a paintball battle. It is rated up to 30 UPF which means you don't have to be a Redneck!

Although it is 100% polyester microfiber which helps wick moisture away from the skin, you don't have to be super sporty to benefit from a Hoo-Rag. I like to wear mine while gardening, sun-bathing (no skin cancer on my face please), and on those days I just don't feel like doing my hair.

If you know someone that is balding this is a great gift though. They can wear it so many different ways to protect themselves from the sun's harmful rays. And on that note, Father's Day is just around the corner. Don't forget to get gifts for those special men in your life!

They have a women's line with over 52 different styles! And they are SUPER CUTE! I took a poll with some of my friends and they chose Ka-Bloom! as their favorite. Since this is such an amazing product and a cute design we've decided to give one away to one lucky reader!
