Digistick Selfie Stick

There was a time when I wouldn't be caught dead using a selfie stick. You wouldn't even see me checking them out online hidden away in the darkest corner of my house. I just had this huge disgust towards them. Maybe because they seemed vain? Maybe because you look ridiculous using them? Maybe because it's the trendy thing to do nowadays? No matter what the reasoning, I hated them. 

Not anymore!!!

Now I love selfie sticks! Now I use them all of the time. Now I take one with me practically everywhere. 

It's easy to do that though. My Digistick collapses down and can fit almost anywhere. It is only 7" long when it is all folded up. I can put it in my purse (even my smaller purses), in the jam-packed diaper bag, in my coat pocket, etc. 

And even though it is so small and compact, it stretches all the way out and is solid as a rock. It extends all the way to 32" long. I have no fear of it snapping in half and losing my phone in the deep abyss below. I'm not worried about my children being too rough with it. This thing is sturdy.

They also come in blue and green if you're not a pink person though.

It  has helped me take my fitness progress photos, group photos, pictures of us with scenery, pictures of my kid strapped to my back, and even sneaky photos of people that don't let me take their picture. I have even set my phone on the opposite side of the room and clicked the button in my hand and it still works!

Ozeri Body Fat Calipers

I have always wanted a way to quickly measure my body fat to keep me on track with my fitness journey. The scales that you stand on don't feel very accurate at all. And the bod pods are really expensive and inconvenient.

Now I have one that I can do at home and whenever I like (if it worked all the time). Although, FYI you should do it at the same time of day each time you do it. They are body fat calipers made by Ozeri.

The first set that they sent me didn't click. Without the click you don't know when to stop pinching. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement completely free. Great customer service!

This morning I finally got a chance to get a true reading. I was pleasantly surprised with with my results. I am leaner than I expected. Having fat calipers at your own convenience is an amazing idea. I definitely recommend it if you have fitness goals. Ditch the scale!

Over the years I have learned how little the number on the scale matters. Your body fat percentage is a more accurate determination of health and fitness.

I like calipers because they give you a pretty accurate measurement. No, they are not 100% dead on every time. Most reading errors are due to user error. Fat calipers are usually recommended for those that have been trained how to properly use them. If you think you can figure it out (GOOGLE IT! lol) then go for it. But I do recommend to do at least a 3-point test. It will give you results that are way more accurate.

I had issues even with my second set though. They don't always work as they should. I don't like the design. And I absolutely hate the tape measure. It either measures too long or shortens before you can read it. Watch my YouTube to understand what I mean.

Overall, I am greatly impressed with the professionalism of the company. The fact that they stood behind their product and put the customer first is very impressive. They were a lot better than a lot of the companies that I've had product errors with. If they tweak their product and make it more reliable then I would definitely purchase from them in the future. As is, I wouldn't waste my money on it. They are cheap though, so it's up to you!
